Picture Tubes: Angels

Figurines and my own

Thought for today:
Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it. ~ Hebrews 13:2

My collection of angels were quite challenging. Most of them I gathered from the cemetery. Hey, beggars can’t be choosers when it comes to using free images. Besides, I like a challenge and I love re-creating sculptures. If you are familiar with creating your own picture tubes, then you know the process of erasing the background and cleaning up the rough edges that the eraser tool leaves behind. I do that by using the soften tool. Then comes my favorite part: adding color and texture. Like I said, these angels were challenging. The angel on the swing (027) got deleted six times before I was finally satisfied with her!

I've been blessed with a forty-nine-year marriage, a son, four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one more on the way. I am a cancer survivor and thank God for His healing touch; physically and emotionally. Having battled depression for most of my life, music, writing, and digital art are tremendous outlets for me. I hope you enjoy your visit and that you'll come back again.
